- Check grading to assure that water will drain away from the foundation
- Check basement or crawl space for moisture damage
- Check foundation for cracks
- Mechanical Inspection
- Clean or change furnace air filter for free.
- Check quality of furnace flame for need of HVAC tech service.
- Inspect hot water heater and drain settlement from bottom of tank.
- Plumbing Inspection
- Check all flush valves, faucets, hose bibs, supply and drainage piping, including those in basement/or crawl space for leaks.
- Inspect and flush all faucet aerators.
- Inspect drains for proper flow.

- Check exposed and overhead wiring for damage and missing insulation.
- Test ground fault circuit interrupters (GFCI’s).
- Doors and Windows
- Check doors, windows, and trim for finish failure.
- Check for broken glass and damaged screens.
- Check weather-stripping for damage and tightness of fit.
- Safety Inspection
- Check safety and auto reversing mechanism on electrical garage door operators.
- Check smoke detects and replace all batteries if needed for free.
- Check driveway, side walks, stairs and outside decks for trip hazards.
- Check all gas appliances for dangerous Carbon Monoxide level.
